Gregg is Rotarian of the Year

Gregg Johnson will be honored by District 7930 as our Club Rotarian of the Year at the District Installation Dinner on June 14 at 6 at the Danversport Yacht Club.  This is well deserved as Gregg always takes on so much whether it be with the Fall Street Faire or the Snack Shack or any of our many other service projects.  Kudos, Gregg!

Please let Brian Snell know if you can make the event to support Gregg and me as incoming President.
District Installation is June 14 at DYC
The District Installation Cocktails and Cookout is Thurs., June 14, 6-9 pm at the Danversport Yacht Club.  It is a cookout and cocktail party theme.  Dress is casual.

Please consider attending to support President-Elect Tim and new Officers and Directors.  It will be a fun time and a great kick off to the new Rotary year.

Contact Brian Snell if you can attend to support our incoming Officers and Board.  Our Club will pay for member's attendance.
Mark Your Calendar for Club Installation June 19
The Club Installation Dinner will be held on Tues., June 19, 6 pm, at St. Agnes Parish Center.  (Note that in case of hot weather there will be air conditioning this year.)  President Tim Kelley and the new Officers and Directors will be installed.

Please make sure you make this important event of passing the gavel from Brian to Tim.  The Club will also be awarding Paul Harris Fellow Awards to a community member.

In addition, District Attorney Marian Ryan will speak on the District Opioid Grant Project.

No fee will be charged.  We will collect voluntary donations to offset the cost.  Please bring guests.  This is a great opportunity to show the community some of the great things our Club does in the community.  RSVP to the emailed invite from Brian or Contact Brian Snell for info or to RSVP.
Richie's a Winner

Richie Lombardo won the (almost) weekly raffle with only 3 cards left in the deck of cards.  There's no hiding your winnings from Patty.  Congratulations!  We'll be starting a new pot at our next lunch meeting.

Candidate Anne Landry Visits

At this week's meeting Anne Johnson Landry visited us for lunch as our Speaker.  Anne is running for State Representative representing parts of Reading and Woburn.  Anne can be reached at her website.  Anne is our second candidate seeking Rep. Jim Dwyer's seat to visit our Club.  Jim Dwyer is not running for re-election.  Anne is a Reading resident and serves on the Finance Committee and Town Meeting and she works as counsel to Sen. Brownsberger.
