New Members from Austin Prep

The Reading Rotary Club is pleased to announce that Dr. Jim Hickey, Sue Belanger, Kelly Herrity and Michael McLaughlin, all staff members from Austin Preparatory School have been has been inducted as the our members.  Austin Prep has become a corporate member of Reading Rotary.  Corporate membership is a new membership category that Reading Rotary has recently implemented.  Dr. Hickey, the Headmaster at Austin, told us that he was pleased that he and several of his fellow AP staff members could join Rotary as AP is looking for ways to expand its involvement in the Reading community. 

 

Austin is an independent Catholic school for boys and girls from grades six through twelve.  Austin was founded by the Augustinian Order in Reading in 1961.  Dr. Hickey was appointed Headmaster in 2013 and has overseen a major development effort including the recent opening of a brand new, state of the art, lighted football field.  We are proud to have Austin represented in our Club once again!
