Congratulations to Reading Schools and Superintendent/Reading Rotary President Elect, Dr. John Doherty, for recognition by the US Department of Education. US Ed Sec, Arne Duncan, will visit Coolidge Middle School on Wed., Mar. 12, 2014, for roundtable discussion with Reading staff and others regarding the progress and benefits of implementing current initiatives. Reading was chosen because of Reading’s leadership with several state initiatives and its commitment to prepare students for college and career readiness.
